INTRO

Google Higher Ed Program

SENIOR DESIGNER - HUGE inc.

Google supports students, teachers, and researchers with training and grants and they needed a platform that would enable their users to find relevant resources and encourage their use of Google Cloud tools and programs for their learnings. Our goal was to empower higher-education users through an easily-accessed website, pull in multiple different training platforms, gather case studies and make it easy for them to apply and get money for their education. All while building connections between the Google for Education brand and Google Cloud brand, furthering the message that Google technology is at the forefront of helping students reach their academic potential.

SOLUTION

We segmented our website out for the three audiences by creating sections of the site for Students, Faculty and Researchers and tailoring the content to them. With a focus on training for the students page, we were able to connect users to all types of Google Cloud resources. For researchers, we relied heavily on displaying case studies to prove how Google can be a partner in their research and innovation. For all audiences, we focused on getting them connected with grants with clear steps about applying and receiving money.

Measuring success with the platform will look like high user enrollment in the grant programs and in the learning/training programs, as well as expanding the opportunities outward to 75+ countries.
