Connecting travelers to luxury accommodations with Barsala's first platform for browsing, booking, and managing stays.
Introduction
Barsala, a short term rental company, needed to create their own booking app in order to streamline its reservation and booking flow. As the lead and sole designer employed by Barsala, I worked closely with the CTO and CMO to create the overall strategy and user journeys, build out wireframes, create a visual design system and all app screens, and finally provide documentation to the team of engineers.

Final Outcome
In my time working with the Barsala team, we saw an increase in online direct bookings by 4.4x. We increased company-wide bookings by 15% and launched our mobile reservation management and booking app with significant positive correlation with guest Net Promoter Score. Barsala was also able to increase their percentage of direct bookings and see that percentage surpass the percentage of bookings made on their top partner platforms, with continuing growth.
